When your intentions for loving a person are wrong, you deserve all that comes to you as a result.

Emotion in Motion
Mae West described sex as “emotion in motion.” Regardless of preference, sex is the physical representation of emotion.
For me, there’s something sexy about scratches and bites. The need to just “take it”. Sometimes, that’s how you feel. Can’t have slow motion sex all of the time…just saying.
Ever have sex after an argument? Make up sex is awesome! Perfect combination of “I’m angry” and “Let’s screw and forget about it”. If you’ve never had it, feel free to pick a petty argument and see for yourself. Thank me later.
Break up sex is another fave. That last romp before lovers depart. You give it your all because you want to leave him/her with memorable experience.
Have sex responsibly.

Let’s Talk About Sex
Do you think sex education should come from the parents, the school, or a mix of both?
Parents are the first educators in a child’s life. Therefore, they should be the ones to deliver sex education. Proper delivery is key. Using anatomical terms instead of those weird PG terms like “peepee” and “cookie” to avoid confusion later on. Sex education is nothing to be embarrassed about, especially with children maturing earlier than past generations.
I wonder if some parents feel like it’s too soon to talk about sex with their children. How do you not talk about sex education when sex is literally EVERYWHERE?!?! Baffles me, but then again, I’m not a parent. I wouldn’t understand how difficult it is to raise a child in today’s society.
rolls eyes Okay.
Today’s post was inspired by the Salt-N-Pepa classic “Let’s Talk About Sex”. Enjoy!

Love Songs: Alicia Keys “If I Ain’t Got You”
You can have all the money, fame, and power in the world. None of that matters if you don’t have someone to love.

Love Songs: Corinne Bailey Rae-“Breathless”
Falling in love with a friend. A blessing and a curse. It’s awesome that you’ve fallen in love with someone who “gets” you. Being friends before lovers is a definite must as far as relationships are concerned.
Before you decide to step into the murky waters of the unknown, there’s so much to consider. Do they feel the same way? If they don’t feel the same way, will things be weird between you? What if they feel the same way and the relationship doesn’t work out? Can you remain friends? Do you even want to risk your friendship? So many emotions.
This song sums it up perfectly. Enjoy!

Two Souls + One Body= Love
Aristotle said, ‘Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.” What are your thoughts about this?
Love merges the psyches of two people. In that moment, those two people are bonded by that one psyche. There’s an unspoken understanding between the two of them. Knowing how one another is feeling without asking is a beautiful feeling. I like to think of it as coming full circle.

Life Without Love
Love is not necessary for survival. On the other hand, I do believe that a broken heart has an impact on a person’s being. We hear about people dying from a broken heart. The loss of love becomes too heavy for them to deal with and they slowly shut down.
While it’s not required for survival, I do feel that love has an impact on your quality of life.

Mature Love
Erich Fromm said, “Immature love says: “I love you because I need you.” Mature love says: “I need you because I love you.” How do you define mature love?
Mature love needs that person that they love. If I love someone, I need to see them, touch them, exist in their space.

Love Triumphs Hate
Martin Luther King Jr. unpacked love and hate when he said, “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.” Which is easier for you to feel: love or hate?
Love is SO much easier! But before I explain why love is easier, allow me to explain why hate is such a burden.
Hate has a nasty grip that physically and emotionally weighs you down. Hate is frigid; chilling your soul to the bones. I have hated people with all the cells in my body and over time, that hatred started to hurt. Once I realized that hatred was the cause of my ailments, I had to let go of those negative feelings.
Love, on the other hand, is a warm hug and big smiles. It’s optimistic, happiness, and hopeful. How can you not love butterflies in your stomach? In my mind, love will forever triumph hate. Even if love sometimes hurts, it still triumphs.
